Scholarships were awarded to the following who entered
college as freshmen in the Fall of 2006 and who were parishioners of Holy
Trinity
KATE GULLO, 2006 graduate of St. Pius X High School enrolled
at Penn State University
Major: Elementary Education
JONATHAN NODOLSKI, 2006 graduate of Pottsgrove High School
enrolled at Neumann College
Major: Sports Management

The 2007 Slovak American Women's Guild Scholarship recipient is:
CHRISTOPHER GULLO, 2007 graduate of The Hill School. Chris
will major in Journalism at
Emerson College in Boston. The award presentation was made by Father Povish
during Mass on August 25th.
Our congratulations go to Chris with warmest wishes for continued success in his chosen career!

The 2009 Slovak American Women's Guild Scholarship recipient is:
Congratulations to Caitlin McKissic, 2009 recipient of the Slovak American Women's Guild Scholarship.
Caitlin is attending Montgomery County Community College where she plans to major in Business and Marketing

The 2010 Slovak American Women's Guild Scholarship recipient is:
Congratulations to Nathan Nodolski. Nathan was a faithful altar server at Holy Trinity for many years. He is a graduate of Pottsgrove High School and will attend Widener University in the fall where he will major in mechanical engineering. Fr. Maloney presented Nathan with a $300 scholarship during Mass on August 8th. Join us in wishing him the best in the years to come!

The 2011 Slovak American Women's Guild Scholarship recipient is:
Miss Josephine Chiarello is the 2011 recipient. She attended St. Pius X High School for three years and graduated from Pottstown High School in June. Josie has served her faith community well, as an altar server at St. Peter's and now as a lector at St. Aloysius. Her mother, Cheryl, grew up in Holy Trinity Parish. Josie plans to major in Human Services at Montgomery County Community College in September.

The 2012 Slovak American Women's Guild Scholarship recipient is:
Recipients are Lindsey Weaver and Nicholas Bleakley. Both students are 2012 graduates of Pottsgrove High School.
Lindsey will be attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania this fall where she plans to major in Criminology. Nick will be attending Lockhaven University where he plans to major in Health Science.
Nick and Lindsey are first cousins. Their maternal great-great grandfather, Michael Kovac was among the founding fathers of Holy Trinity Parish. Succeeding generations of the Kovach family continued to serve the parish, most notably their grandparents, Al and Irene Kovach, who devoted many hours of time and talents.
